莞草编织技艺是中国非物质文化遗产，这种传统的手工艺曾经见证了一代代东莞人的荣耀岁月，如今却只能安静地躺在博物馆里。所以我以传承为背景，把莞草编织技艺与家具结合，设计出一系列编织凳，旨在让这款“教具”走进校园，使每个孩子都有机会去体验这种传统手工艺，从而实现非遗传播，让传统文化更好地传承下去。Guan grass weaving craft is China’s intangible cultural heritage . This traditional handcraft have witness the glory days of past Dongguan people ， but now they can only lying in the museum quietly . So I make the inheritance as a background ，combining guan grass weaving craft with furniture and finally I design a weaving stool ，this design is aim to make this“teaching aid”enter campus so each child has the opportunity to experience this traditional handcraft，so as to spread the intangible cultural heritage and make the traditional culture inherited better .
