Shiershiman Clothes Rack is inspired by the traditional practices. The upturned beam echos the traditional Chinese archways and eaves, where people can put coats or pajamas directly over it. The overall design expresses an upright and dignified feeling. Ancient Chinese scholars and nobles believe dirt and chaos from outside should not be brought home. Under this culture background, Shiershiman tries to simplify the old form while adding more functional thinking to it to make it a useful, beautiful modern design piece.
