设计团队通过延绵不绝的菩提林的造型，将建筑立于唐山湾海边。无论是提取小叶菩提的元素作为造型依据，还是用到的河北当地民居中常用的夯土、樟子松木等建筑材料，设计的本意都是为了呈现北方粗放、狂野的一面。
The design team gave the architecture an appearance resembling a stretching Bodhi forest, which stands on the shore of Tangshan Bay. Whether the application of Bodhi tree elements to the architectural form, or the utilization of local building materials such as rammed earth and scots pinewood, the original intention was to present the wild side of Northern China.
