Founder and Chief Architect of Lacime Architects. SONG Zhaoqing received his architectural training at Tsinghua University. After graduation, he worked in Nikken Sekkei where he led the design of Shanghai Xintiandi. In 2001, he founded Lacime Architects, a practice adheres to the belief "simplify complicated materials and back to the origin." In 2019, he was invited to be a judge of the A&D Trophy Awards. In 2020, he became a member of ICONIC Awards jury panel, as well as WAN Awards’.
